Okay, so... where are you?
I currently reside in the Syracuse, NY area of the United States, so I'll be starting this project around here. I also frequently travel to Buffalo, NY, since I have a great many friends out that way (I used to live there, too). If you're in either of these areas, you'll have the greatest opportunity to participate in this project. I do, however, plan on traveling a lot more after the end of this year, so I'm hoping this can take me to more places than I have originally imagined. Please feel free to contact me anyways even if you're not in my area of regular travel, because who knows, maybe you live in a place that I'm dying to visit! I love making friends around the world, too.

Send me an email so we can swap phone #'s and we'll discuss when and where to meet up. If you leave a comment somewhere on one of my posts with contact info, I may or may not see it, so email is preferred. I don't want to leave anyone out!
Is this free? And do I get to keep a copy of my portrait?
Yup! *This is purely a project to further my love of photographing people and to give back to the community. After I develop the photograph I will send you a digital copy along with a print release. I will, however, retain the copyright to the photograph. The photographs will be posted here on this blog, and may or may not be used in conjunction with a future project (like a book, etc), but not without gaining your permission first. I love to create artful portraits, but I also believe in fairness as well.
* I own and operate a wedding photography business, so for those who are curious about whether or not I should be making money from my photographic works, don't worry, that's what my weddings are for. :) Oh, and if you're getting married, why not inquire at bteamphoto.com? Shameless plug, I know, but I still need to feed my family!
